THIS IS A GENERAL APPLICATION PRODUCT AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER TO SELECT A STRUCTURALLY SAFE LOCATION
FOR ATTACHMENT.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Slide left and right frame bracket (B) and (C) onto receiver assembly (A).
2. Position and clamp frame brackets to the bottom of frame so the receiver assembly with ball mount is centered on vehicle and there is adequate coupler clearance.
3. Using frame brackets as template, drill two (2) holes into vehicle frame rail with 1/2" drill bit. Note: If holes in Frame brackets do not line up with the holes in the Receiver
Assembly drill one ½" diameter hole in each for bracket attachment.
4. Loosely fasten frame brackets to frame rail using carriage bolt (1) and reinforcing plate (D). Bolts and plates may have to be fish wired or bumper loosened if no access holes
are present for bolt/plate installation. Remove clamps. Refer to sheet 3.
5. Tighten all bolts.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.
