1. Lower spare tire – Refer to vehicle owner's manual.
3. Remove factory bolts – Using a 21mm socket, remove (4) M16 bolts holding
the bumper brackets to the vehicle frame.

2. Clamp bumper tabs – Use the C clamps to clamp the bumper tabs to the matching
tabs directly above (1 each side) to prevent the bumper from coming down when
removing the factory M16 fasteners holding it to the vehicle frame.
4. Install hitch – Raise the hitch into position, aligning the attachment holes in
the hitch to the holes in the bumper bracket and frame rail. Re-install the
factory M16 bolts each side.
