Introduction
The miDock
™
is a portable audio system designed
STUDIO
specifically for iPod and other MP3 players and can be
powered by an AC adapter or batteries. Your miDock
also charges the battery for your iPod when it is docked
and the AC power adapter is plugged in. The following
information will help you get the most from your
miDock
.

Setting Up Your miDock
™
STUDIO
AC & Battery Operation. Plug the power supply into
the 12V DC power input jack located on the back of the
miDock
. Choose the proper plug adapter for your
STUDIO
country and slide the adapter onto the power supply until
it clicks into place. Plug the power supply with adapter
into the wall outlet. To enjoy your favorite music anywhere
anytime, install eight (8) C batteries in the battery compart-
ment located on the back of the unit.
You can connect other music sources to your miDock
auxiliary input jack using a 3.5mm stereo
STUDIO
cable (not supplied).
You can connect headphones (not supplied) to your miDock
headphone jack for private listening. To keep your
STUDIO
iPod synchronized with iTunes, you can connect your
miDock
to your computer using the USB cable
STUDIO
supplied with your iPod.
Dock Your iPod. With your miDock

place the dock adapter for your iPod into the docking cradle
and then insert your iPod. Dock adapters for newer iPods
are supplied with the iPod itself. Dock adapters for older
iPods are included with the miDock
Adapter Guide ). Be sure to use the dock adapter
STUDIO
that matches your iPod to ensure a proper fit and to
prevent connector damage.
For best sound performance, turn off the EQ settings
in your iPod by following the instructions that were
supplied with your iPod.

Remote Control. Before using the remote control for
the first time, pull out the plastic tab from the battery
compartment. To replace the remote control battery
(CR2025), carefully insert a thin object into the battery
release, slide the tab over and hold it. Then slide the
battery compartment open.

Turn It On, Turn It Up! Your miDock
automatically when you insert your iPod. To play music,
press play on your iPod or remote control.
