3. FIXING THE SUP
THE VALVE
If you notice a pressure loss, first check the valve. To detect a leak, we recommend you
to spray some soapy water around the valve. If you notice bubbles, first check that the
valve is properly installed. After many uses, it may be coming loose. A spanner is
available in your repair kit to retighten it.
WARNING: before using the valve spanner, deflate the stand-up
paddle board. The non-respect of this rule can expose you to
important dangers or physical and material damages.
2. Unscrew the valve thanks to the tightening
1. Deflate your SUP completely
spanner
If the problem remains after using the tightening spanner, the valve might be faulty.
Please contact our After-Sales service, which can provide you with a new one
(contact@simplepaddle.com).
The valve can be tightened, loosen or replaced thanks to the valve spanner supplied
with your SUP. You just need to unscrew it completely when the board is deflated and
change it for the new one. Be careful tightening the new one to avoid leak appearance.
You can also add a waterproof PVC seal to solidify the substitutive valve.
