2. Safety instructions
In case of any damages which are caused due to the failure to
observe these operating instructions, the guarantee will
expire. We do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the
safety instructions. The guarantee will expire in any such
case.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important
instructions in the operating manual. Carefully read the whole
operating manual before putting the device into operation. It
contains important information about correct operation of the
device.
•
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product are inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
•
The manufacturer or supplier accept no responsibility whatsoever for incorrect
displays or the consequences which can arise from such incorrect displays.
•
Never use the altimeter in situations in which professional measuring technology
is required. The altimeter is only suitable for hobby use.
•
Only operate the apparatus if the situation allows and if you are not distracted
from what is going on around you by operating it. This could be the case, for
example, when operating it in traffic.
•
Never leave the packaging material lying around carelessly. Plastic foil or bags,
Styrofoam parts etc. could become a dangerous toy for children.
•
Servicing, adjustment or repair works may only be carried out by a specialist/
specialist workshop.
•
Handle the apparatus carefully. Even falling from a low height can damage it.
•
Should any questions arise that are not answered in this operating manual,
contact our Technical Advisory Service or another expert.
