6. Trouble shooting
Spotlight does not turn on.
- Check Lux setting
- Check wall switch is on
- Confirm wiring is correct
Spotlight remains on
- Check time setting.
- Cover PIR motion sensor with black insulating tape. If after the timer set time expires the floodlight turns off this indicates that the
PIR motion sensor can see a moving heat source. Eg: Open window, boiler outlet, open exterior door or moving branches or bushes
retaining heat from the daytime period.
Spotlight flashes on and off
- PIR motion sensor being triggered off by reflected light.
