3. Drill a 1/4 in. hole in the duct at the location
selected for the sensor.
4. Attach wire using wire nuts and push them into
the cover, then insert the probe into the hole
drilled in step 2.

5. Secure the DATS to the side of the duct, through
the two mounting holes, with the screws sup-
plied.
IMPORTANT
Use 18-22 gauge thermostat wire for shorter
runs. For longer runs or when wiring near volt-
age, use shielded cable.
6. Run wire to zone panel or thermostat. See zone
panel or thermostat installation instructions.
