Attention: The hot water may cause injuries!
If there is no liquid flow through the pump (the delivery side is closed, or the suction side becomes leaky) and
the pump is operating for a longer time (>10 minutes), then the water found in it may get very warm. Discon-
nect the machine from the mains, and let the pump and the water cool down. Do not switch on the machine
unless all the faults are eliminated.
The warming of the water may happen for the following reasons:
Unprofessional installation (suction side leakage, the pump may suck air)
•
Lack of water in the suction pipe (the water level of the well decreased, the foot valve does not reach minimum
•
30 cm below the water level, the suction depth exceeds the suction capacity of the pump)
•
Improper setting of the switch-off value of the pressure switch (The pump's maximum pressure, which
depends also on the circumstances of the installation as well, should be at least 0.5 bar greater than the
switch-off pressure value set).
•
Simultaneously with the previous causes, closed delivery side (The pump is operating continuously, but cannot
increase the pressure of the water to the switch-off value set on the pressure switch.)
The fault of the pressure switch

LABOUR SAFETY REGULATIONS
Connect the connection plug to the mains in a dry place.
The apparatus may be connected only to the mains equipped with shock-proof protection as per the valid
•
standards.
In case of abnormalities during operation, maintenance or placing out of service, remove the connection plug
•
from the socket.
•
Perform any maintenance, assembly or repair only on the apparatus disconnected from the mains, including
the replacement of the mains connection cable. These repairs may be done only by a technician.
DO NOT use the pump in garden lakes or swimming pools when persons, living animals are staying in them.
•
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1) No mains voltage.
2) Thermal protection relay
switched off.
1) Leakage on the delivery side.
2) Low air pressure in the tank.
1) Suction pipe clogged.
2) Too great suction head.
3) Too small pipe diameter.
4) Too great level difference.
SOLUTION
1) Have the mains and the connection
checked by an electrician!
2) The electric motor is overloaded;
eliminate the cause of overheating.
Contact a technician.
1) Eliminate the leakage.
2) Set the pressure through the valve
found on the back of the tank to the
factory value (see the technical data).
1) Clean the suction side.
2) Decrease the suction head.
3) Use greater delivery pipe.
4) Decrease the level difference.
