8. Commissioning
Connection varies, depending on which device you own and which connections you want to use. You
may need additional connection cables in order to operate the devices on the TV box.
The TV box only works with analog signals. This means that e.g. a TFT monitor has to
have an analog VGA input, a graphic card an analog VGA output. If necessary, use the
corresponding cables.
It is also not possible to play back or loop a digital audio signal with the TV box.
Open the battery compartment of the IR remote control and insert two batteries (AAA, micro) with
the right polarity (plus/+ and minus/-). Close the battery compartment.
Connect all devices as shown in chapter 7.
Connect the power pack of the TV box last. Insert the low-voltage plug into the socket on
the TV box, then plug the power pack into a common wall outlet.
a) Turning the TV box on and off ("Power" button)
Turn the TV box on/off with the "POWER" button on the remote control or on the top of the device.
When switched on, the TV box automatically switches to the TV tuner.
When turned off, the VGA signal of a connected computer is automatically looped
through (and the audio signal at the 3.5 mm audio input next to the VGA input on the TV
box).
b) Switching inputs ("Input" button)
You can select the desired input or function (TV, CVBS/video, S-video, computer) with the button
"Input" on the remote control or the TV box.
If there is no signal at the selected input, no image is displayed, of course. Image noise
may appear with not yet programmed TV stations when selecting the TV input.
