Positioning the unit

A dehumidifier operating in a basement will have little to no effect in drying an adjacent enclosed
storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate air circulation in and out of the area.

Casters can move freely.
Do not force casters to move over carpet,
or move the unit with water in the bucket.
(The unit may tip over and spill water.)
Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy
access to an electrical outlet.
Plug the unit into a grounded electrical socket.
Make sure the water bucket is correctly fitted otherwise
the unit will not operate properly.
NOTE: Be careful when moving the device when it has
water in the bucket, to prevent it from falling over and
spilling the water.
