6. Running the Engine

WARNING
• To prevent from toxic exhaust, be sure to run the engine at ventilated area.
• To prevent from personal injury avoid hands, body and cloths from clinging into the output
shaft, pulley and V pulley moving parts.
• Check the moving parts and the surrounding parts after stopping the engine. Be sure that there is no
tools or clothing inside the engine body.
CAUTION
• The muffler is very hot during operation, do not touch the muffler.
• The air cleaner will suck the surrounding airflow during operation. To prevent injury ,avoid
hands, personal body and cloths from contact the engine.
1. Warm the engine for 5 minutes.
NOTE
• Be sure to regulate the engine speed with the governor lever.
NOTE
• Do not screw off adjusting bolts and fuel adjusting bolts.
3. If the engine shoots out black smoke through itʼs exhaust,
this indicates that the engine is running in an overloaded
capacity, adjust the engine pulley and the load pulley.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WHILE RUNNING:
1. Abnormal vibration or sound. Whether the exhaust is normal.
2.The engine smoke is white or black.
3. Be sure to shut off the engine when any of these accur.
