Fuse Replacement (Fig. 3)
Do not attempt to repair this test instrument. It contains no user-
serviceable parts.
Failure to observe this precaution can result in injury and can damage
the instrument.
Use only properly rated fuses when replacement is necessary. See the
Specifications section of this manual.
1. Follow Steps 1 through 3 under
Battery Replacement.
2. After unfastening case back,
carefully turn unit over and lift up
on case front to reveal circuit
board. Do not remove the screws
from the circuit board.
3. Remove defective fuse by gently
prying one end of the fuse loose
and sliding the fuse out of the
holder.
4. Install a new fuse of same size
and rating. Check that new fuse is centered in fuse holder.
