This appliance has an automatic cut off
switch that shuts the straightener off
should it overheat.
If any fault occurs do not attempt to repair
it by yourself. This appliance has no user-
serviceable parts.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Plug the appliance into a 100, 120 or
240 VAC electrical outlet. NOTE: This
appliance automatically operates from
100 to 240 VAC which eliminates the
need for a voltage selection switch.

Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug; if it is not work-
ing properly; or if it has been dropped,
damaged or dropped into water.

Keep the cord away from all heated sur-

Never place the appliance on a soft sur-
face, such as a bed or couch. Keep free
of lint, hair, etc.

Never use while sleeping.
8.
Never drop or insert any object into any
opening.

Do not use outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is being administered.
A Voltage Valet adaptor plug may be
required to modify the appliance plug to
fit 240 VAC foreign electrical outlets.

Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON posi-
tion. A steady Red light appears near
the ON/OFF switch when the plates are
heating. The Red light blinks when the
desired temperature is reached.
3.
Adjust the temperature dial from Low
to High according to hair texture (lower
temperatures for thin hair, higher tem-
peratures for thick hair).
Low temperature approx. 170° F
High temperature approx. 400° F
4.
After approximately 30 seconds the
appliance is ready to use. The Red light
will start blinking.
5.
Proceed with hair styling. Do not jerk,
twist or strain the power cord during use.
