Operating instructions
Use the pipe line (3) to connect the cylinder (1) to the
pump unit (2). To do so, screw the one end of the pipe di-
rectly into the pump and join the coupling at the other
end to the coupling on the cylinder.
Make sure that all the parts are tightly screwed before you
start pumping!
To build up pressure in the hydraulic system, close the vent
plug on the pump by turning clockwise; if you now move the
pump lever, the pressure cylinder will be extended.
To depressurise the system, carefully turn the vent plug anti-
clockwise.
The speed of depressurisation can be controlled by gentle
turning of the vent plug. Never depressurise abruptly!
The pump is best used in horizontal position. If used in other
positions, make sure that the pipes point down in order to
prevent air being pump with the fluid.
Protect the piston thread from damage (guard ring and cap).
Fit dust caps after disconnecting the high-pressure couplings from
the cylinder and the pipe.
Lateral loading of the piston is prohibited.
