5.3. Electrical system
Beware of electrical current! Incorrectly performed
electrical work can result in fatal injury. This work
may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The voltage required in the technical data sheet must
correspond to the existing line voltage.
Make sure that the electrical installations are in ac-
cordance to electrical standard safety regulations
applying in your country.
The end of the cable must not be submerged in water,
as water may enter the engine-room connection
The lifting systems require no further motor protection.
The device is connected to the mains via the shockproof
plug.
It is important to ensure that the data provided on the
nameplate corresponds with the existing power supply.
5.4. Start-Up
Never let the pump run dry for a long time of period,
as it will destroy the pump (danger of overheating).
Now connect the unit with the power cable, to the main
supply and the unit is ready for operation. In combination
with the flat switch the pump starts and stops according
to the liquid level in the tank.

6. Maintenance
6.1. General
The entire system must be checked and serviced at reg-
ular intervals.
The following points should be noted:
•
Only maintenance work and activities listed here may
be carried out.
•
All maintenance, inspection and cleaning work on
the system must be carried out in a safe work space
with utmost care. The machine must be disconnect-
ed from the mains power supply for any work to be
carried out. An unintentional switching on must be
avoided.
•
Electrical work on the machine and the system must
be performed by qualified personnel.
•
In the event of flammable solvents and cleaning
agents being used, open fire, naked lights and
smoking is prohibited.
•
Ensure that the necessary tools and materials are
available. Order and cleanliness guarantee safe and
trouble-free work on the machine. Remove used
cleaning materials and tools from the machine after
completing the work. Keep all materials and tools in
their designated places.
A trial run or functional test of the machine must only
be carried out under the general operating conditions!
6.2. Maintenance dates
Semi-annually:
•
Visual inspection of the power supply cable
•
Cleaning of the container
6.3. Maintenance work
Visual inspection of the power supply cable
The power supply cable must be examined for bubbles,
cracks, scratches, abrasions and / or pinching points.
Upon detection of damage, the damaged power supply
cord must be replaced immediately.
The cable may only be replaced by the manufactur-
er or an authorized or certified service workshop. The
machine may not be put into operation again until the
damage has been properly fixed!
Cleaning of the container
First, disconnect the container from the mains power
supply. Then remove the top by unscrewing the four
screws (under the covers in the corners) of the lifting
system. Thoroughly rinse the container with clean water.
Then close the container with the four screws.
