A. PREPARING TO IRON
1. Take boiler out of the box.
2. Place boiler on a sturdy work surface.
3. Insert cord supporter (Fig. 1) into the hole provided at the back of the boiler. Insert iron cord
and hose into hook on top of cord supporter.
4. For Model EVG-242, be sure the grey plug for iron is inserted to the grey receptacle (Fig. 1,).
Be sure the black rubber steam hose is connected to the solenoid (Fig. 1).
5. Open Safety Water Cap (Fig. 2) by pushing down and turning counter-clockwise.
6. Fill the boiler with water to the desired level (up to 77 oz). Do not over-fill.
Note: Do not use distilled water.
