Installation

WARNING: Only connect the appliance to a weatherproof socket designed for exterior
use. If in doubt consult a qualified technician.

Positioning the Appliance

The BUFFALO Outdoor Heater has a maximum heating range of 3
metres.
Always ensure the following measurements are observed when
positioning the appliance [Fig. 1]:
Minimum of 2.75m from the floor
Minimum of 0.5m from any ceiling or cover
Minimum of 50mm from the wall

Mounting the Appliance

WARNING: Ensure the mounting substrate is suitable
and can support the weight of the appliance.
Decide on a suitable position for the appliance.
1.
Remove the mounting bracket from the appliance (if fixed).
2.
Use the bracket as a template to mark the screw holes in the mounting substrate.
3.
Note: Ensure the appliance is mounted a safe distance from any flammable objects or
surfaces.
Fix the bracket to the substrate using suitable fixings for the mounting substrate (not supplied).
4.
Loosely attach the appliance to the bracket using the fixings supplied, and in the order shown [Fig. 2].
5.
Nut
Fix the lamp at the required angle (max. 50º) and tighten both nuts to secure.
6.
Ensure the power cable is secured away from the heat of the appliance.
7.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power supply and allow to cool before cleaning or
performing maintenance.
