Continuous condensation drainage.
If the dehumidifier is used in a very damp atmosphere,
the tank will need to be emptied more often. Under
such circumstances, it can be more convenient to
organise continuous drainage by means of the
following procedure :
Bore a hole in the outer rear casing at the
•
indentation for the drainage hose. Once drilled,
the hole cannot be resealed.
• Connect a 12 mm drainage hose to the appliance.
Warning! The drainage hose does not come supplied
with the appliance.
•
Make sure that the condensation drains away
freely and that the hose is properly fixed in
position.
N.B. If the appliance is operating in very cold
surroundings, take precautions to prevent it from
freezing.
N.B. If the power supply is cut off during operation in
TIMER mode, when power is restored the timer will
be reactivated, taking account of the time elapsed
before the power failure.
E.g. if the original Timer was set to 4 hours and the
power supply was cut off after it had been operating
for 2 hours, when power is restored to the appliance
it will operate for the remaining 2 hours and not the
original 4-hour period; only whole hours will be taken
into account at the restart, e.g. if the original setting
was 4 hours and the power supply was cut off after 2
and a half hours, when power is restored the
remaining operating time will be 2 hours.
If the Control Panel is switched off, however, any
Timer settings at that moment will be reset.
