3.0 INSTALLATION

The ventilation kit may be located to the sides or
under the stove provided the grate is at a height
of 38 cm from the fl oor.
To install, proceed as follows:
- ensure that there is an electrical socket near the
stove.
- Remove the central knockout if the kit is to be placed
under the stove or the lateral knockout if the kit is to be
located to the side.
- Using the four self-tapping screws provided in the kit,
fasten the collar to the hole that has been made.
- Fit one end of the piece of hose Ø 112 mm, provided
in the kit, onto the collar and secure it with the relative
hose clamp.
- Connect the other end of the piece of hose to the fan
and secure it with the relative hose clamp.
- Place the fan on the fl oor.
It is important that when the fan is in its final
location it is fully accessible for cleaning
and any maintenance also after the stove
surround has been fitted.
When the fan is installed under the stove, it
is accessible by removing: grille, grate, ash
drawer and bottom protective plate from the
stove.
When it is mounted near to the stove, an
inspection door must be created in the
surround.
- Insert the bulb of the PT sensor by about 30 cm
into the hole made purposely on the bottom of the
base element and secure the sensor using the sensor
bracket and the thumb screw.
- Connect the fan to the hot air outlets using hoses.
The fan is fi tted with a Y-element, but the line can be
split up by using two Y-elements thereby making it
possible to connect up with four outlets.
