Solutions
Make sure that cables and connector pins are not damaged, bent, or
dented.
Make sure that the Master/Slave device setting of your drive doesn't
conflict with the other IDE device connected to the same IDE port.
Use the software provided with this drive. When using other software,
make sure that your CD-R/RW drive is supported by contacting the
software manufacturer.

Reinsert the CD with label side up.
Make sure that the power cord is securely connected to the connector.
Make sure that the IDE cable connector pins are not bent.
Remove the other CD writing software. Only one CD writing software
program should be installed on your computer.
If different CD writing software is used, errors may occur. Always use the
same CD writing software.
Capacity of CD-R/RW media is limited to 650 MB (74 min. capacity
media) including lead-in, lead-out, and TOC data. Use a new CD-R/RW
disc if the capacity is insufficient for the additional data.
