Possible causes
•
The bottom of the pool has not
been straightened correctly prior to
filling it with water.
•
The side walls have not been "pu
shed outwards" correctly while filling
the pool with water.
•
The pool has not been assembled
on a level surface.
•
The chlorine oxidises minerals in the
water. This usually occurs with water
from various sources.
•
"Hard water" caused by the pH va
lue being too high.
•
Chlorine content is too low.
•
Foreign matter in the water.
•
People do not clean their feet befo
re entering the pool.
•
Hole or tear in the pool liner or in a
filter pump hose.
•
Water evaporating due to high tem
peratures in the summer.
•
Algae in the water.
•
The pool has been set up in a ge
nerally shady area or underneath
trees..
•
The heat is being extracted from the
pool water..
Remedies
•
Drain the pool until the water is
only 2 – 3 cm deep and then try
to smooth out as many creases as
possible.
•
Entleeren Sie das Becken bis zu ei
ner Wassertiefe von 2 – 3 cm und
drücken Sie die Seitenwände nach
außen.
•
Drain the water completely and
then re-assemble the pool on a flat,
level surface.
•
Correct the pH value to the recom
mended one.
•
Run the filter pump until the water
is clear.
•
If necessary, frequently clean the fil
ter pump cartridge.
•
Correct the pH value. Check with
your local pool supply shop about
suitable water treatment.
•
Ensure that the chlorine content is
correct.
•
Clean or replace the filter cart
ridge.
•
Always clean feet before entering
the pool.
•
Localise the fault and repair it. Re
place the hoses.
•
Always cover the pool when not in
use.
•
Carry out "shock treatment" (super
chlorinate). Check the pH value
and correct it to the level recom
mended by your local pool supply
store.
•
Use a pool vacuum cleaner to va
cuum the pool liner and wash it ca
refully.
•
Reassemble the pool at a new lo
cation with maximum sunlight du
ring the warmest hours of the day.
•
Always cover the pool when not in
use.
