Ratio Modes
Slave flashes can be controlled by the Master flash in two different Ratio Modes.
M: A All Slave flashes no matter in groups A or B are regarded as the same
group. There are only two groups: Master and Slave group.
M: A: B There are three groups: Master, Slave group A and Slave group B.
Phottix Mitros TTL flash for Sony has two TTL modes: TTL and TTL Auto
mode. Please see above "Master Flash Modes" and below for more details.
TTL Modes:
M: A Master flash will not fire. All Slave flashes (no matter in groups A or B)
will fire as metered and/or the same flash power.
M: A: B Master flash will not fire. Only Slave group A will fire. Slave group B
will not fire.
TTL Modes:
M: A Flash ratio can be set for Master and Slave groups (A and B). Master and
Slave groups will fire at the selected flash ratio.
M: A: B Flash ratio can be set for Master, Slave groups A and B. Three groups
will fire at the selected flash ratio.
Please note:
1. If it is set to M:A ratio mode, any one of the groups can be turned off by
setting the flash ratio to "-"(OFF).
2. If it is set to M:A:B ratio mode, any two of the groups can be turned off by
setting their flash ratio to "-"(OFF).
Manual Modes
M: A Master flash will fire at the selected manual power level. Slave groups (A
and B as the same group) will fire at the TTL metering result and the selected
flash ratio.
M: A: B Master flash will fire at the selected manual power level. Slave group
A and Slave group B will fire at the TTL metering result and the selected flash
ratio.
Please note:
1. If it is set to M:A ratio mode, any one of the groups can be turned off by
setting the flash ratio to"-"(OFF).
2. If it is set to M:A:B ratio mode, any two of the groups can be turned off by
setting their flash ratio to "-"(OFF).
Setting and adjusting Master Flash parameters
Modes
TTL
1. Pressing the
button, the EV compensation option will be highlighted and
flash on the LCD.
2. Press the
and
buttons will adjust the EV compensation value
(from +3 to -3 in 1/3rd stops).
3. Pressing and holding the
flash on the LCD to enter parameter setting.
4. Press the

buttons to cycle between Channel and Ratio Mode.
5. Press the

Please note
The Mitros Flash in TTL can show EV compensation setting options and make
EV compensation adjustment only with SLT-A99V/ SLT-A99 and SLT-A58 cam-
eras (as new cameras are released this list may increase). The Mitros cannot
show EV compensation setting options or make EV compensation adjust-
ments when using with other cameras. The EV settings are invalid.
TTL Mode
1. Pressing the
button, the EV compensation option will be highlighted
