Installation and operation
• The lamp head of the LED table lamp might not be attached to the foot upon deliv-
ery.
Hold the unlocking key at the lamp head down and slide the lamp head onto the
foot. Release the unlocking key when the lamp head is in the desired position.
• Place the LED table lamp only on an even, stable, and suffi ciently large surface.
Protect the surface of valuable furniture by using an appropriate underlay, oth-
erwise it may cause scratches.
• Connect the round low-voltage plug from the power adapter included to the appro-
priate socket on the LED table lamp.
• Plug the power adapter into an appropriate mains socket. The power LED on the LED
table lamp starts fl ashing.
• Press the round turning knob to switch the LED table lamp on or off.
When the lamp is switched on, its brightness can be adjusted with the turning knob;
in addition, a display above the turning knob shows the current brightness level.
When the LED lamp is switched off, the current brightness level is saved and
restored when the lamp is switched on again.
When disconnecting the LED lamp from the power supply, the saved bright-
ness level is lost.
• Turn the turning knob in the desired position so that your working area is optimally
illuminated.
• To adjust the height of the lamp head, hold the unlocking key down and slide the
lamp head into the desired position. Release the button again.
Handling
• Only use in dry indoor locations. The product must not get damp or wet!
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room
to a warm one. The condensation that forms might destroy your unit. The
mains adapter also involves the risk of an electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the
power supply and putting it in to use. This may take several hours.
• Avoid the following unfavourable environmental conditions at the installa-
tion location and during transportation:
- Excessive humidity or damp
- Extreme cold (<5°C) or heat (>35°C), direct sunlight
- Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows,
- Strong magnetic fi elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or
loudspeakers
• Any maintenance or repair work must only be carried out by authorised per-
sonnel.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are neither kinked
nor pinched.
Place the cables in a way so that nobody can trip over them.
• Do not turn the lamp arm always in the same direction as this can overwind
and damage the spiral connection cable.

Maintenance and care

• The LED table lamp does not require maintenance. The LED illuminants used have a
long lifetime; they cannot be replaced.
• Switch off the LED table lamp or disconnect it from the mains voltage before clean-
ing. After this, allow the LED table lamp to cool down suffi ciently.
• The exterior of the LED table lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the
housing (discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Disposal
When disposing of an unserviceable product, do so in line with the relevant
statutory regulations.
