Intended use

The table lamp is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it only may be used and
placed in dry, enclosed indoor rooms.
Any use other than the one described above can damage the product. Moreover, this
may give rise to hazards such as short-circuit, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the
product must be changed or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

Safety instructions

Please read all the instructions before using this device, they include
important information on its correct operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be null and void in such cases.
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not al-
lowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy, and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Children cannot assess the dangers arising from incorrect use of electrical
devices. Be especially careful if children are around.
• The LED table lamp is designed in protection class III; the power adapter
complies with protection class II.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
b) Operation
• This product is only to be installed and used in dry, enclosed conditions in-
doors. The product must not get damp or wet as this may damage it; danger
of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use the LED table lamp in rooms, or under adverse environmen-
tal conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Never place the product on an unstable or movable surface. Always set up
the LED table lamp in a way it cannot tilt or fall. Tilting/falling can cause a fi re
hazard, people could be injured or the product could be damaged.
• The product may only be used when assembled.
• The product gets very hot around the LED illuminant, risk of burns! Take the
necessary care in using the lamp!
• Do not place any objects on the lamp or hang any objects on it. Fire hazard!.
• Never use the product without supervision.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• The product is only suitable for use in moderate but not tropical climates.
• Caution, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED table lamp may only be used when powered by the included power
adapter.
• If the power adapter is damaged, do not use the product any longer. Switch
off the mains socket to which the power adapter is connected (switch off
at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse). Unplug the
power adapter out of the mains socket.
• If you have a reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product exhibits visible damage
- the product does not function at all or well (fl ickering light, leaking smoke
or smell of burning, audible crackling noises, discolourations on the prod-
uct or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of
time or
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
