ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach the leg frames (A) to the top frame (C) by
hand using M6x35 bolts (BB) and 6 x 20 nuts (CC).

2. Insert crossbar (B) into leg frame (A) and tighten
with M7x90 screws (AA) and allen key (DD). Then
use allen key (DD) to tighten M6x35 bolts into top
frame (C).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Garden furniture is treated with oil before leaving the factory, and the oil penetrates certain kinds of
wood more deeply than others. Please remove any oily residue with a cloth before using your new
garden furniture.
If the timber is exposed to rain, the surface fibers will rise slightly and have a rough texture. This is
normal. Light sanding with semi-fine sandpaper will achieve a smooth finish. When this is finished, oil
the timber to restore its color.
Balau coating requires limited maintenance to withstand weathering. However over time, the sun will
bleach the original brownish color and a new grey surface will appear. Use standard linseed oil if you
chose to reobtain a similar color.
• Storage during winter:
It is natural for timber to shrink and expand depending on the humidity. This furniture has been manu-
factured and designed for our normal summer climate. Do not store this product in centrally heated
rooms, as this will cause the timber to dry out and possibly shrink and crack. Cool, well-ventilated
sheds are the most suitable location. After the wood has been in use for a period of time or has dried
out, it can be necessary to tighten (with only moderate torque) the screws. Use a hexagonal wrench.
WARRANTY
• This outdoor furniture is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser for a period of one
(1) year from the date of purchase, when purchased at Lowes
workmanship and materials only. If your outdoor furniture fails structurally during normal use within
one (1) year of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace the defective piece at its discretion
(with the same or similar product if original product is discontinued) at no charge.
• Proof of purchase (dated cash register receipt) is required for warranty claims. See the full warranty
document supplied with the furniture for more details and warranty exclusions.
