4. Insert the extension poles (6) into the feet
(7) and (10). Make sure they are the right
way around. The screws on the fixing
rings must point outwards (Fig. 15).
5. Fix the extension poles (6) by using the
M6×35 bolts (18) and the nuts (17) at the
same height on both sides.
The combined length of the extension pole
and foot should not be more than 4 cm
shorter than the distance you determined
in Step 1 (Fig. 16).
6. Set up the awning in the desired position.
Make sure that the canopy pole (26) is
horizontal and the feet (7) and (10) are
vertical (Fig. 17).
7. To extend the feet and tension them be-
tween the ceiling and the floor, turn the
foot caps clockwise (Fig. 17).
8. To clamp the awning frame firmly be-
tween the ceiling and the floor, turn the
threads of the foot caps
– clockwise to extend the feet (Fig. 17).
– anticlockwise to shorten the feet (Fig.
17).
9. Using the screws (21) and (22), screw the
extensions (8) and (9) to the downpipe
that has been inserted through the lower
seam of the awning canopy (Fig. 18).
Assembly
Adjusting the height
1. To change the height of the canopy
pole, loosen the screws on the plastic
clamps (27), without unscrewing them
completely (Fig. 19).
2. Slide the canopy pole (26) upwards until
you reach the desired height. Make sure
that the canopy pole remains horizontal
(Fig. 19).
3. Retighten the plastic clamps (Fig. 19).
4. To change the height of the awning frame
(Fig. 20), read Step 8 in chapter "Awning
frame".
Adjusting the tilt
The awning must be extended to adjust the
tilt angle.
1. Loosen the screws on the fixing
rings (28). Do not completely unscrew
them.
2. Slide both fixing rings (28) to the desired
height. Make sure that the fixing rings
are mounted at the same height and that
the extensions do not touch the ceiling
when the awning is retracted or extended
(Fig. 21).
3. Screw the fixing rings tight again.
Before retracting the awning, push the
fixing rings down far enough to ensure
that the extensions do not touch the ceiling
when retracting. Make sure that you tighten
the fixing rings at the same height to make
sure the awning canopy is always tightly
rolled up. You can adjust the tilt angle again
the next time you use the product.
