The speed limiter is activated with
the switch in Fig. 1 - page 9. It is
NOT adjustable.
The speed limiter switch is set to
50 km/h. When the switch is turned
on, the ECU will limit the speed of
the vehicle to 50 km/h.
ATTENTION:
No indication of an ON/OFF
position is present on the switch.
Before proceeding, we suggest
marking the ON/OFF positions on
the switch (ON/OFF positions are
determined only by testing the
vehicle at a speed greater than 50
km/h).
Programming the
Speedometer
• Push the engine stop switch to
the ON position (red button –
Fig. 2, part. A - page
9).
• Switch the speed limiter switch
to ON
(See ATTENTION
• Turn the ignition key to the
ON position.
• At this point there are only
five seconds to start the
programming sequence.
• Push the engine stop switch to
the OFF position then back to
the ON position. Repeat this five
(5) times.
• The engine malfunction light
(Fig. 3, part. B - page 9)
three (3) times.
• In the event the programming
sequence is incorrect, the
engine malfunction light will
not flash and the ECU will exit
the programming mode.
• To return to the programming
mode, it is necessary to turn
the ignition key OFF and then
ON and therefore, repeat the
steps above.

Programming the Map
To switch from the Standard ECU
