Safety and Warranty
A shorter power cord should be used to reduce the risk of tripping.
Longer detached power supply cord or extension cord are may be used if care is exercised in their use.
A) The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least equal to that of the electrical rating of the
appliance, and;
B) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop.
Do not cook on a broken cook-top. If the cook-top should break,substances may get into the appliance and
create a risk of electric shock.
Do not place a sheet of paper between the cookware and the unit.
Items with a magnetic field, such as: radios, televisions, automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes, can
be affected by this unit.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt modify the plug in any way.
The hotplate is only heated up by the bottom of the cookware, food cannot stick and burn. There is not
much danger of burns for the user. The glass ceramic only heats up cookware.
Once you take the cookware off the hotplate, the device automatically switches to a standby mode.
The device detects whether suitable cookware is placed on the hotplate. If this is not the case, no energy is
transmitted.
1 YEAR PARTS AND LABOUR BENCH WARRANTY
Within the warranty period, contact Omcan Inc. at 1-800-465-0234 to schedule a drop off to either
an Omcan authorized service depot in the area, or to an Omcan Service warehouse to repair the
equipment.
Unauthorized maintenance will void the warranty. Warranty covers electrical and part failures, not
improper use.

WARNING:
The packaging components are classified as normal solid urban waste and can therefore be disposed of
without difficulty.
In any case, for suitable recycling, we suggest disposing of the products separately (differentiated
waste) according to the current norms.
DO NOT DISCARD ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS IN THE ENVIRONMENT!
