CAUTION

and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage,
financial
harm or risk of accident.
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Using other tools; touching
rotating parts.

Commissioning

Before start-up:
1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-
structions
(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-
ter: "Technical data" and the "Intended
use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.
4. If present: Install the air supply / dis-
charge hose (item 04).

5. Insert the drill into the quick-action
chuck (item 03).
6. Observe the maximum suitable drill di-
ameter (see Instruction manual, Part 1,
Chapter: Technical data).
7. Securely tighten the quick-action chuck
manually (Figure 2).
8. Check the drill for secure fit.
9. If present: switch over the reversing
valve (item 07) or (item 09) for direction
of rotation: clockwise / anticlockwise
(Figure 3a, 3b).
Compressed air connection:
1. Install an upstream maintenance unit
with filter pressure reducer and mist oil-
er.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the air
hose onto the plug nipple (item 01)
(Figure 1a).
Operation:
1. Attach the tool to the object being pro-
cessed.
2. Press the trigger lever (item 02).
3. Release the trigger lever (item 02). The
drill comes to a complete stop automati-
cally.
After use:
1. Disconnect the quick-action coupling
from
the
plug
(Figure 1b).
2. Remove the tool from the keyless chuck
(item 03).
3. Clean and store the device in dry condi-
tion

Maintenance

Regular lubrication is required!
Oil using a maintenance unit
with filter pressure reducer and mist oiler.
Add oil manually into the
plug nipple (item 01).
For long breaks in operation, also oil via
plug nipple (item 01) using special oil for
compressed air tools.
