Power supply
1. Remove the scale from the packaging and check that all its parts are intact.
2. Paying close attention to the glass top, open the battery case on the back of
the scale.
3. Insert a buttontype battery cr2032 (3v) paying attention to the polarity of the
battery.
4. Close the battery case.
Caution
Low batteries become dangerous due to the possible loss of electrolyte liquid
which is very corrosive. To avoid damage to the appliance caused by such even
tuality, replace the exhausted batteries.
If the scale remains unused for a long period of time, it is recommended to remove
the batteries from the battery case. This is to prevent the corrosive liquid inside it
from escaping causing serious damage to the scale.
Any damage caused by the liquid of the batteries will not be recognized in
the warranty.
Battery replacement
When the scale does not switch on and the word "lo" appears on the display or its
operation is abnormal, it means that the batteries are low. Replace them with new
ones with the same technical characteristics.
The exhausted batteries must be disposed of through the appropriate collection
network. Do not throw batteries into fire. Do not dispose of batteries in the envi
ronment.
Functions
Tasto "on/tare": switch on/off button and tare function (weight reset).
Tasto "unit": measurement unit selection button. It is possible to choose between
grams, pounds and ounces. The choice will remain in memory until a new selec
tion is made.
Use
1. Place the scale on a flat, solid surface.
2. Press the "on / tare" button to switch on the scale. When the display shows "0
g" the scale will be ready for use.
3. If you wish to change the unit of measurement, press the "unit" button repea
tedly.
4. Place the product to be weighed on the surface.
5. After a few seconds the display will show the weight. Allow the value to stabilize.
6. Press the "ON / TARE" button to zero the weight and proceed with a subse
quent weighing. The display will show "0 g".
