Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 200m USB 2.0 Fibre Optic Extender. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
This Extender allows you to extend the distance between your host computer and a USB device by up to
200m. It consists of a local unit with a USB Type A and a LC Simplex Multimode connector - and a remote
unit with a USB Type A and a LC Simplex Multimode connector. LC Multimode Fibre Optic cable up to
200m length is used to connect the two units (not included).

Installation
Plug the USB Type A connector of the Transmitter into your host computer. Then connect your USB device
to the USB A female port of the Receiver and connect Transmitter and Receiver by use of a Multimode
fibre optic cable (not included) with LC Simplex connectors. Finally plug the power supply into the Receiver.
