14. Maintenance and care

Maintenance and care of induction heater:
All service and repair work must be carried out by qualifi ed
personnel only.
Before performing any maintenance, check if the induction
heater has been disconnected from the mains supply and
has cooled down.
Check heating coils regularly. Damaged or worn heating
coils can signifi cantly reduce their effi ciency.
The induction heater should be regularly treated with a
commercially available solvent-free cleaning agent without
grinding additives.
Never immerse the induction heater in water or any other
liquids!
The induction heater should be cleaned and serviced
at regular intervals, approx. every 6 months:
1.
Disconnect the device plug from the socket for this.
Before starting work, wait 10 minutes so that the
capacitors discharge. Only then remove the upper
housing of the induction heater.
2.
Clean all contaminated electrical connections and
tighten loose connections.

15. Storage

The device must be stored under the following
conditions:
• Keep the tool in a dry and dust-free place.
• Do not expose the device to liquids
and/or aggressive substances.
• Do not store the device outdoors.
• Keep tool out of reach of children.
• Storage temperature: -10 up to +40 °C.
• Relative air humidity: max. 60 %.
Leave the device switched on for 10 minutes after
fi nishing the work – the device is cooled with ventilators.
Once the induction heater has cooled down, the
ventilators switched off . Only switch off the main switch
after this and disconnect the device from the power
supply

Clean the inner parts of the induction heater (in
particular the coolers) of dust and other impurities –
use a soft brush and vacuum cleaner for this.

The upper housing must be grounded – always
ensure that you reconnect the cable (green/
yellow) before reinstalling the induction heater.
5.
Pay attention to correct and proper routing of all
lines and protection devices during installation.
All service and repair work must be carried out by
qualifi ed personnel only. Have the induction heater
checked for safety by technical personnel only!

16. Disposal of the used system

Disposal of induction heater:
• Electric devices must not be disposed of in the domestic
waste, but at special collecting points.
• Electronic waste, electronic components, lubricants and
other auxiliary materials must be treated as hazardous
waste and may only be disposed of by authorised
specialists.
