HEADPHONES (FIG. 3)
Headphone parts:

- Activate the headphones power supply by removing the insulating taps that come out of the right earpad.
- Make sure that the headphones are off, checking that the ON/OFF red indicator "A" is off. If necessary, use the POWER
button.
- Connect the AC power supply cable to the input connector "M" (DC IN) on the back of the base.
- Connect the AC power supply unit to the mains power socket.
- Switch on the base with the switch "N" on the rear (POWER).
- Select one of the 3 available channels (CHANNEL).
- Position the headphones on the base (the headphones must be off) wait for a few seconds and make sure that the green
LED "Q" (CHARGE) is on to indicate the correct contact between the headphones and the recharge spring "R".
- Leave the headphones charging until the CHARGE indicator switches off.
CONNECTING AN AUDIO SOURCE (after recharging the HEADPHONES)
Make sure that the transmitter base is off before making the connections.
- Remove the headphones from the charging base.
- Identify the headphone output on the TV or other audio device you wish to connect (3.5 mm stereo JACK connector). It
is usually identified with the symbol
WARNING make sure not to mix up the headphone output with a PC audio input present on certain TVs.
- Connect the audio connector that comes out of the base to the headphone output on the TV.
If the device does not have a headphone output see the "ALTERNATIVE AUDIO CONNECTIONS" chapter.
- With the switch N, switch on the base and the connected audio device; usually, when the headphone output is connected,
the device (TV) will no longer reproduce audio through its own speakers.
Use the TV remote control to raise the audio volume to at least 50%.
- Check that the RED "SIGNAL" indicator, indicating that an audio signal is being received by the transmitter, is on.
If it does not, try increasing the volume on the playback device (e.g. TV).
