SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS
This appliance meets all the European safety prescriptions, carries the CE label and is only
suited for domestic use.
‐ The Citrus Press can only be used with 230V AC.
‐ ALWAYS put the appliance on a stable base.
‐ NEVER plunge the motor block, the cord or the plug into water or any other liquid. Only
clean it with a moist cloth.
‐ This appliance may be used by children of min. 8 years old, by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge on condition
they are supervised and instructed to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and
supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
‐ ALWAYS switch off the appliance and pull out the plug
*after use or when the appliance is not in use
*if the Citrus Press doesn't function properly
*when cleaning the appliance
‐ NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket.
‐ NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely
‐ NEVER use the cord in the proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or heating
‐ Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
‐ The appliance is intended for household use and cannot be used for more than 5 minutes
at a time.
‐ Persons who haven't read this instruction manual cannot use this appliance.
GENERAL USE
‐ Put the cone onto the axle in the centre of the motor block.
‐ Cut the fruit (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, ...) in half. For small fruits it is best to use the
small
‐ cone. For larger fruits use the large cone. Both cones are clicked into each other.
‐ Place one half of the fruit onto the cone and press lightly, so the motor will start.
‐ Don't press to hard in order to avoid the motor from making too much noise and to avoid
the speed to drop.
‐ The motor will stop automatically when the fruit is removed.
‐ Outlet with dripping stop. Place a glass under the outlet and push the outlet down during
the use of the Citrus Press (fig.2). After use of the Citrus Press, push the outlet up in order
to avoid dripping (fig.1)
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
‐ Remove all packagings and stickers.
‐ Before the first use we recommend to clean all component thoroughly (see 'Cleaning').
‐ Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage.
According to the safety law: only use earthed sockets.
