Safety information
• Before use, the device must be checked to ensure it is in
good working order and safe to use. If the device is defec-
tive in any way, it should not be used. If the power cable on
this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer or by the manufacturer's customer service to avoid
hazards. The device operates with hazardous leakage
current. For this reason, you should never open the casing.
• Do not allow children to play with the packaging film. It
could cause suffocation.
• Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience
or knowledge may only use this device if they are super-
vised or if they have been shown how to use the device
safely and they have understood the risks inherent in its
use. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning
and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children
without supervision.
• Keep children under 3 years old away from the device
unless they are under constant supervision.
• Children up to 8 years old may only switch the device on
and off if they are supervised, or if they have been shown
how to use the appliance safely and they have understood
the risks inherent in its use, provided that the device has
been placed or installed in its normal operating position.
Children up to 8 years old may not plug the device into the
power socket, adjust the device, clean the device or carry
out maintenance on the device.
• Some parts of the product can get very hot and cause
burns. Extreme caution should be exercised when children
or vulnerable persons are present.
• The rated voltage stated on the device nameplate must
correspond to the supply voltage. The device may only
be connected to a power socket that has been installed
according to regulations and fused. If it is a permanent in-
stallation, an earth leakage circuit breaker (all-pole discon-
nection switch, min. 3mm contact gap) must be installed.
Disposal
• Disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Do not dispose of this
product with household waste. It must be taken to the appropriate collection
point to ensure it is recycled.

instructions and/or work is not carried out professionally or is carried without

• if the electric heating element has a build-up of limescale or if the electric heat-
ing element is damaged as a result of dry operation.
