Footswitch (12)
This 1/4" mono jack is provided for use with a single-button footswitch. This creates the capability to
switch from the Pentatone™ setting on the front to the setting on the back. Without the footswitch,
only the front Pentatone setting will function.
Pentatone (13)
This switch allows the user to select one of the five standard settings in conjunction with the footswitch.
Speaker Outputs (14)
These 1/4" mono jacks provide two connections for speaker cabinets.
Impedance Selector (15)
This switch must be set properly to match the speaker cabinet used. If two 16 ohm cabinets are being
used the switch should be set to 8 ohm.
Voltage Selector (16)
Selects between 220-230 VAC or 240 VAC this must be properly set for the amplifier to function
correctly.
Line Cord (230 V units only) (17)
If it is necessary to use the Penta
should be used. Greatly reduced shock hazard exists when the unit is operated with the proper
grounded receptacles.

If the colors of the wires in the mains lead of this unit do not correspond with the colored markings identifying terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows: (1) The wire that is colored green and yellow must be connected to the terminal marked by the letter E, or
by the earth symbol, or colored green or green and yellow. (2) The wire that is colored blue must be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter N, or colored black. (3) The wire that is colored brown must be connected to the terminal that is marked with
the letter L or colored red.
Fuse (18)
A F3A/250 amp fuse is located within the cap of the fuseholder. It must be replaced with the same
type and value in order to avoid damage to the equipment and to prevent voiding the warranty. If the
amp repeatedly blows fuses, it should be taken to a qualified service center for repair.
