Do not cover the device with a cloth, towel or anything else when in operation to avoid overhea-
ting or malfunction of the device.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
Carefully clean all parts and remove any medicine residues and possible impurities after each treatment.
The compressor (1) and the air tube (11) must be wiped clean with a clean damp cloth.
Always wash hands thoroughly before cleaning and disinfecting the accessories.
Wash/sterilize every part of the nebulizer.
Do not expose the compressor to water or heat.
Replace the air tube when passing to a new patient or in case of impurities.
Before cleaning, disconnect the plug from the electric outlet.
The compressor is not waterproof and must not get in contact with liquids. In case of
contact with liquids, immediately disconnect the power cord, shut off the device and dry
it with care. Do not immerse the device in liquids.
Cleaning with water

Clean all of the device's parts (except for the air tube) under hot running water for about 5
minutes, adding, a small amount of neutral detergent if necessary, following the dosage and limits
specified by the detergent manufacturer.

Rinse thoroughly, taking care to remove all residues, then leave to dry.
Disinfection
•
All parts (except the air tube) can be disinfected with chemical disinfectants, using doses and
limits as specified by the manufacturer of the disinfectant.

Disinfectants are generally available from pharmacies.
Steam sterilisation
All of the components (except for the air tube and the masks) can be steam-sterilized up to a

temperature of 100 °C (15-20 min.).

After sterilizing, always leave the components to cool down to ambient temperature before using
again.
