2.5 SET FORHEAD REST
Turn the adjustment ring to position the forehead rest higher
or lower.
2.6 MOUNTING ON THE TRIPOD HEAD
SWAROVSKI OPTIK tripod head
The tripod base (AS) fits directly into the SWAROVSKI OPTIK
PTH and CTH tripod head.
Other tripod heads
The tripod base has a connecting thread of 3/8˝ UNC. The
inserted bush reduces the connecting thread to 1/4˝ UNC.The
spotting scope fits on any standard tripod head, either directly
or using an adapter plate.

2.7 ADJUSTING THE TWIST-IN EYECUPS
In principle, you can choose between four different setting positions that provide varying
distances between your eye and the lens. You can set the optimal distance according
to your personal preference.
Pos. A: Initial position without spectacles: Twist out the eyecups
anticlockwise to the full extent.
Pos. B: Initial position with spectacles: Twist in the eyecups clock-
wise until they stop.
Pos. C and D: Alternative positions or interim adjustment stages
for spectacle wearers and non-spectacle wearers.
