7. Assembly and Installation

If permanently installed, the equipment must be set
up in a dry, well ventilated place sheltered from we-
ather, where the room temperature must not exceed
40°C
It is up to the operator to prevent consequential da-
mages, e.g. flooding of rooms during equipment
faults, by means of appropriate measures (e.g. a re-
serve pump or similar).
AL3 with float switch:
Place the float switch, for example, in the pump shaft of
the cellar. Fasten the cable with the float switch so that
the desired switching level is ensured, for pump shafts,
this is above the switching level of the pump. Ensure that
the float switch can move freely in the event of a flood, to
ensure perfect functioning of the device.
AL3 with floor sensor:
Place the floor sensor at the desired location with the
electrodes underneath, on the floor. If the floor is uneven,
place the sensor at the lowest point. Ensure that the sen-
sor has direct contact with the floor, to guarantee perfect
functioning of the equipment.
