Sump Receiver Installation Instructions
Place the sump receiver over the roof opening making sure that the recessed area
will accommodate the roof drain body while aligning with the leader pipe.
Lower the drain body into the opening and screw the deck flange into the sump
receiver and roof.
Position the roof dome over the drain and align the holes with the flashing clamp on
the drain body.
Place screws into the holes and tighten until dome fits snug against the drain body.
Maintenance & Cleaning
The RD-300 should be checked on a regular basis to ensure that the drain is free
of debris, leaves, trash, and other materials that can clog the drain. Clogged drains
may cause leaking and standing water on the roof.
Gloves should be worn to protect your hands while removing the debris. Clean the
area in and around the drain and inspect the inside of the drain and piping. The
dome may be removed and set aside to allow for cleaning.
Remove any leaves, sticks, trash or other types of
debris that may be lodged inside the drain pipe area.
The dome may be attached and screwed down after cleaning is complete.
The roof should also be checked along with any other drains that are installed on
the roof. Check waterproofing materials to make sure that they are holding up to
the weather
