Please note that the range of up to 150 metres may be limited by elements such as metal, brick
walls and electronic equipment.
If you experience low signal or limited range during use it may also be due to low battery energy
level. Prolonged severe frost may in some cases also decrease the range.
BATTERIES
Changing the batteries in the receiver
Access to the receiver's batteries is obtained by twisting the upper and lower parts apart (anticlock-
wise). Tip the batteries out of the holder and insert new batteries. Assemble the receiver and it is
ready for use again.
Changing the batteries in the sensor
The batteries can be changed without removing the sensor from the mailbox. Access to the batter-
ies is obtained by pulling the battery holder
and insert new batteries. The sensor is now ready for use again.
All batteries in each unit must be changed at the same time!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Receiver does not flash when mail is delivered
This can be caused by:
1. The distance between sensor and receiver is too long.
Solution: Move the sensor and receiver closer to each other.
2. Sensor and receiver are not synchronized.
Solution: Synchronize the units again (can be done after fitting the sensor).
3. Batteries in sensor and/or receiver are flat.
Solution: Change the batteries.
4. Prolonged severe frost.
Solution: Change the batteries or wait.
