After use
• Put the mains switch in the low-temperature
position 'I' to cool down the appliance.
• Allow the appliance to run in this mode for at
least 1 minute.
• Put the mains switch in position '0' to switch off
the appliance.
• Be aware that the appliance has not yet fully
cooled down at this point.
Allow the appliance sufficient time to cool down
after use. The appliance will remain hot for some
time after the machine has been fully switched off.
Ensure the appliance has completely cooled down
before storing it.
4. MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from mains power
and make sure it has cooled down completely be-
fore carrying out any inspection or cleaning. .
• Never use water or other liquids to clean the
electrical parts of the weed burner.
• Never use easy inflammable liquids for cleaning
the weed burner, especially for the mouthpiece.
• The exterior of the weed burner may be cleaned
with a damp cloth.
• Regular maintenance of your weed burner
prevents unnecessary problems. Keep the ven-
tilation slots of the appliance clean and clear of
debris to prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
In case your weed burner does not function cor-
rectly, please see below for some of the possible
causes and their respective solutions:
• The motor is overheating.
• The ventilation slots of the weed burner are
clogged up.
Unplug the appliance from mains power and
clear the ventilation slots of dirt and debris.
• The weed burner does not start when it is
switched on.
• Interruption in the electrical circuit.
Check the mains lead and the mains plug.
• The switch is defective.

Have the weed burner serviced by your
local dealer.
• The motor does not work, but the weed burner
does heat up.
• Interruption in the electrical circuit.

electronic apparatus have to be collected at
the appropriate recycling locations.

tools that are no longer usable must be collected
separately and disposed of in an environmentally

or attempted to the machine by unauthorized
service centers;.
• Normal wear and tear;.
• The tool has been abused, misused or improp-
erly maintained;.
• Non-original spare parts have been used.
