Please note: never transport the device with a full water tank.
possible hazards:
- there is too much water in the base of the housing and the spraying power is severely re-
duced.
- water can escape
- the water tank can fall and become damaged (and water can leak on to the floor).
1.
For this reason, base (4) of the Hydra humidifier should initially be placed in a suitable
location separately.
2.
When this base is in the desired location: Fill water tank (3) with water (hold the filling
opening slightly upright) – screw the lid back on firmly and check that it is water-tight.
Place water tank on base. Plug power cable (1) into the household power socket.
3.
Switch on the Hydra humidifier using on/off switch (5) and select desired power setting
(7). The control display now appears blue. The steam outlet (2) can be turned 360°.
4.
The desired air humidity can be selected using hygrostat regulator (6), from left (low hu-
midity) to right (high humidity). For example, if the regulator is turned completely to the left,
the device switches itself off at a relative humidity of approx. 30%, and only starts operat-
ing again when the humidity falls below the 30% mark. We recommend a medium setting
(in the comfort zone) for an optimal air humidity of around 40-60%.
caution: the device will not switch on if the hygrostat has been set too low.
