Remove attachment comb

Hold the attachment comb by the two guide arms at the side and lift it off the appliance

Cutting with the attachment comb
· The attachment comb allows cutting lengths from approx. 2 – 22 mm.

· Comb completely retracted – cutting length approx. 2 mm
· Comb completely extended – cutting length approx. 22 mm

· Take care to ensure you use the correct attachment comb setting.
· Ensure that the appliance is clean and oiled and that the battery is charged.

· Hold the appliance so that the flat side of the attachment comb faces the head, then guide it
slowly but firmly through the hair (Fig. 11).

· As a rule, you should start at the sides or back of the head, cutting upwards towards the
center of the head (Fig. 12). Then cut the hair at the front of the head, starting from the fore-
head and cutting towards the center of the head.

· Cut hair longer than 22 mm using a hairstyling comb (Fig. 13) or grip it between your fingers
(Fig. 14).

· Interrupt the hair-cutting operation from time to time, comb out the hair and check the
progress and success of your work.

· Do not immerse the appliance in water!
· After every usage, remove the attachment comb (Fig. 3

housing opening.
· Only wipe the appliance with a soft cloth, which may be dampened slightly. Do not use sol-

vents or abrasives!
· For a long-lasting, good cutting performance, it is important to oil the blade set frequently

· If the cutting performance deteriorates after long use despite regular cleaning and oiling, the

blade set should be replaced.
