19. OUTER CLEANING
WARNING! TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY TO THE CABINET BY DISCONNECTING THE POWER
PLUG BEFORE CLEANING.
For a good preservation of the cabinet's body a periodical cleaning is necessary.
1. EXTERNAL BODY:
When necessary, the external body should be cleaned with a cloth and a neutral soap and water solution.
2. STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES:
pads etc. which will spoil the finish of the stainless steel.
3. SURFACES IN PLASTIC MATERIAL:
no circumstances should alcohol, methylated spirits or solvents be used.
4. GLASS SURFACES:
can leave a film of calcium on the surface of the glass.
20. INNER CLEANING
WARNING! TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY TO THE CABINET BY DISCONNECTING THE
POWER PLUG BEFORE CLEANING.
We recommend to make the defrosting of storage compartment and, at the same time, the cleaning
of displayng tank; proceed as follows:
1.
Place the goods in special refrigerated containers, kept at the same temperature.
2.
Open the cover and wait for the internal temperature of the tank to be the same as room
temperature.
3.
Before cleaning the inside temperature must be equal to the ambient temperature; place a
container of warm but not boiling water inside the storage compartment, standing on a piece
of cardboard, and leave the door closed for about 30 min.
4.
Remove the plug inside the tank and the external drainage plug.
5.
Proceed with washing and drying the internal chamber with a cloth using neutral PH detergent
and fresh water.
6.
Avoid water entering into the appliance lighting units.
7.
Clean the internal glass using only specific glass products. It is not recommended to use
water as it can leave limescale on the glass surface.
8.
Then plug the unit and wait till the appliance reaches the right temperature before filling it again.
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Never use a water hose or a high-pressure jet to clean the cabinet.
WARNING! Do not use jet of water to clean the cabinet: electrical wiring could be damaged.
WARNING! Never use mechanical devices or any other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
21. TEMPERATURE SETTING AND CONTROLS
Each refrigerating appliance is provided with an
electronic thermostat for automatic maintenance
of the temperature inside the tank.
This temperature adjuster is gauged by the factory
and should not be touched by the user.
Only if the average internal temperature is too cold
or not cold you can proceed as follows:
•
Press the (˄) key or the (˅) key in order to
see on display the temperature set point.
•
Press the (˄) key or the (˅) key in order to
increment or decrement the temperature
set point.
•
After 30 seconds, the display automatically
reverts to showing the current temperature.
