ELECTRIC WATER HEATER WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The tank (number on the front) is guaranteed against corrosion for 5
YEARS. This warranty will be executed upon free exchange of the water heater
stripped of its electrical part.
The user may not benefit from the warranty until the manufacturer has been
satisfied of the merits of the claim by examining the water heater by Brandt
France.
The plumbing components used in this installation must conform to NF.D. 36-401.
Leaking due to the flange gasket flange itself, will not give rise to a factory return
and free exchange of the appliance.
The warranty covers in this case only a new flange.
The electrical equipment (thermostat, element) is guaranteed for 2 YEARS.
The warranty on a replaced part is prolonged by 2 years from the date of
replacement.
THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES:
- Installation and removal.
- Carriage of the appliance between the shop and the installation place.
- External damage occurring during carriage or installation.
- Descaling required during the warranty period.
- Electrical equipment including fuses and switches (for effective protection).
- Damage to the equipment due to incorrect connections, voltage surges or
lightning.
- Damage to the tank when the anode has worn so its diameter is less than 10
mm at any point.
- Disconnection of the water heater from any of the safety features (safety valve,
valve restraint, drainage and closure taps).The former being located incorrectly or
not connected to the drainage as required. These must all be checked annually.
- Damage due to the supply pressure exceeding 7kg per cm
reduce pressure below 7 kg per cm
- Accidents due to improper or non-existent earthing.
- The electric water heater must be installed far from any water that could leak
onto the equipment leak or its connections as a result of water damage. We are
not responsible for any water damage as a result of non-compliance with these
installation recommendations.
- In areas of hard water, use of a water softener will not give rise to any
derogation on our part of our obligations under the warranty, with the sole
reservation that the softened water is from 8
according to the technical rules respected by manufacturers of water
- The provisions of this warranty do not preclude the Purchaser's exercise of their
rights under the legal guarantee against faults or hidden defects, which apply in
any case under the terms of Article 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.
