INITIAL USE
Before putting your installation into service, it is necessary to completely drain the
water heater, with its pipes and fittings, of any air it may contain. For this, before
turning on the water heater, fill the system by opening the stopcock and keeping a
hot water tap open.
Let it run until the water is perfectly clear.
Switch on the appliance. During heating, the expansion of water causes a
o
discharge from the safety unit. The water temperature should never exceed 98
C.
After drawing off about 15%, the thermostat switches the heater back on. It is
recommended to check the various functions at least once a year.
If there is a water leak, immediately turn off the appliance at the main switch.
THERMOSTAT
Thermal safety of the thermostat prevents accidental overheating.
When the safety thermostat is triggered, reconnection must be performed by the
installer, after finding and solving the problem.
To reduce the water temperature, turn the thermostat anti-clockwise.
The thermal safety of the thermostat can be rest by pressing the arming terminal
with a screwdriver.
