OPERATION
1. Connection to the power supply, cabling and socket design
The device is suitable for alternating current according to the information given on the rating plate. Make sure
that the voltage (V) and the frequency (Hz) of the device are the same as those for the mains supply connec-
tion as described on the type plate and the technical data. The device is double isolated and equipped with a
two-core cable with moulded plug. Do not attach a separate earth wire or connect one of the two wires of the
cable to the ground terminal of a three-pin plug.
2. Cutting depth
The depth of the cut can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw. Loosen the screw and slide the depth
limiter until the rear end of the carriage matches the desired depth indication on the scale.
After adjustment, tighten the clamping lever again. When cutting wood, for best results, the cutting depth should
be set slightly lower than the thickness of the material.
3. Marking of the cuts
When working with the device, to avoid ugly over-cutting, it makes sense to know exactly where a cut should
begin and end. Index numbers that match the depth limiter settings can be found on on side of the protective
cover. They show the exact beginning point and end point of the cut.
a.
Draw on the work piece the cuts you wish to make. If the shape you want to cut is not a rectangle or
square, please draw at the end of the cuts guides that intersect the cuts at right angles.
b.
First set the cutting depth, for example to 9 mm.
c.
Locate the cutting depth on the sides of the protective cover.
d.
Align the rear digits of the cutting depth on the cover with the guide line at the beginning of the cut.
e.
Cut along the drawn cut line until the guide line at the end of the cut is below the front digits of the cutting
depth.

4. Operating switch
Power on: First, open the machine main switch, the engine starts running and then open the protective covering
self-locking switch, press down the machine to start cutting a work piece.
Switch off: Release the on/off switch.
5. Dust suction connection
It is recommended to use the dust suction outlet. You can buy a suitable commercial dust suction device or

ust through a dust suction pipe.
6. Brush change
CAUTION: Before working on the machine, make sure that the switch is in the „OFF" position and the mains
power plug is unplugged.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the two coverings of the brush housing. Remove the two carbon brushes
and dispose of these. Note: The brushes must always be replaced as pairs.
Insert the new brushes, replace the coverings and tighten these with the screwdriver. The new brushes may first
generate sparks until they match the profile of the motor. Repeat the process on the other side
7. Laser adjustment
When using the laser for the first time, check that the laser axis is correctly
positioned. If not, use an Allen wrench to adjust the laser location."
8. Use of the laser aiming device
Never look directly into the laser beam.
Injuries could be the result if you look directly into the laser. Please
note the following rules: Turn on the laser at the side (Fig. 1)
Align the laser to the end point of the planned cut. (Fig. 2)
When sawing, guide the saw along the visible light beam.
