8.2 Connecting the Monitor

The monitor supplied allows you to connect a separate DVD player (or similar).
If you wish to connect a DVD player to the monitor simply attach the AV cable to the free socket on your
monitor.
The yellow RCA socket is used for the video signal, the red socket for the right audio signal and the whi-
te socket for the left audio signal.
The monitor must be in AV mode to play back the image of the DVD player on the monitor (see chapter
"11. Remote Control Button Functions")
Functional check
You can now check if all cables have been properly connected by:
- reconnecting the battery.
- by inserting the ignition key into the ignition lock and turning it into the first position.
- connecting the monitor cable to the monitor.
- pressing the "POWER" button on the monitor or the "POWER" button on the remote control. The
red LED on the "POWER" button on the monitor lights up.
To see the camera image on the monitor, reverse gear must be engaged.
