Positioning of instrument
The instrument must be positioned in a manner that allows the user to dis-
connect the unit form the mains at any time and without restrictions.
3.4.2
Rack Mounting
The instrument can be installed in a 19" rack-mount using a rack adapter kit.
Ambient temperature
Place the R&S NGE100 in an area where the ambient temperature is within
+0 °C to +40 °C. The R&S NGE100 is fan-cooled and must be installed with
sufficient space along the sides to ensure a free flow of air. Required mini-
mum distance: 1 rack unit (RU).
